Welcome to the Oakdale website.
SSAA Oakdale is one of fourteen branches here in Tasmania. SSAA covers the needs of almost all shooters, no matter what the discipline. This is enhanced by the fact that our members have reciprocal rights with all other branches, both here and on the mainland.
Contrary to most peoples beliefs, shooting is not a male orientated sport. Many ladies and girls shoot and shoot very competitively. There is no gender discrimination in the sport of shooting, unlike some other sports.
The Sporting Shooters Association of Australia caters for both target shooters and hunters and has people only to willing to show the new-comer the ropes.
