Welcome to the SSAA Oakdale Pistol Club website.
Oakdale Pistol Club Inc. is one of sixteen (16) SSAA branches in Tasmania. SSAA covers the needs of almost all shooters, no matter what the discipline. This is enhanced by the fact that our members are welcome at all other branches, both here and on the mainland.
Contrary to popular belief, target shooting is not a male dominated sport. Many females, both junior and senior, compete alongside the boys and are very accomplished. There is no gender discrimination in the sport of target shooting. In fact, target shooting can be something the whole family can enjoy.
The Sporting Shooters Association of Australia caters for both target shooters and hunters and has people only too willing to help new comers to the sport.
SSAA Oakdale welcomes all who wish to come along for a look and if it tickles your fancy, we have systems in place that will allow you to have a go. Please see the Shoot or Join section.
